Get ready to start the sizzling summer with a resort casino hotel as Atlantic City's first casino hotel celebrates its 45th anniversary this Memorial Day weekend. The festival will begin on Friday, May 26, as Mayor Kelsey Grammer and Marty Small Sr. host an annual opening ceremony at 1 p.m., followed by iconic Boardwalk Entertainment and an annual Beach Ball Drop at 5 p.m.
"Being Atlantic City's first casino hotel is a great achievement in celebrating its 45-year run," said Marc Giannantonio, president and CEO of Resort Casino Hotel. "This wonderful milestone is a testament to our hotel's culture, the hard work and dedication of our team members, and the loyalty of our guests. We look forward to continued growth and success as Resort Casino Hotel begins the next 45 years and beyond."
To kick off the holiday weekend, Star Card members of the resort can go to the promotion booth between 1 p.m. and 7 p.m. to exchange their 45th anniversary reusable tote bags for free.
